THIS FOR THAT, TIT FOR TAT
If you want something bad enough, it should motivate you to do the thing someone is asking of you. This is the premise to a behavioral strategy I've come to know and one I use everyday since my son was diagnosed with Autism. It's a basic concept and a social norm really, but does it cloud your ability to give into the unknown? What if your beliefs lie more in exploration? If a strategy becomes your foundation, do you risk erasing your curious nature? Do this....you'll get the thing you want, if only for 30 seconds.
Meanwhile, I stitch during my sons virtual therapy and promise to not look ahead, and hope that discovery and wonder will rear its head tomorrow.
